Diet culture looms and lurks in every nook and cranny of our culture. It’s at the doctor's office, it’s on social media, it’s on regular media – news, TV shows, movies, magazine covers at the grocery store. It’s absolutely everywhere! And it’s common to see this type of marketing push goals like 'lose x pounds' or 'get your body back' or 'lose weight and find your confident self', as if it’s the only option available. News flash – it’s not.
What’s worse though, is now we have Wellness Culture superimposed on Diet Culture. So, it’s not JUST “lose weight” anymore. No, now it’s “don’t eat this” and “you have to eat that”. Root vegetables have been demonized alongside tasty desserts, and nobody knows if they should be eating gluten or not.
Staying true to your anti-diet principles can be hard when you don’t have like-minded people around you. It’s like learning a new language when everyone else around you is still speaking another one. And those around you still in the Diet and Wellness culture certainly do not speak the same language.
This is why having an intuitive eating support group can make all the difference.

We meet twice per month on Monday, once at 7 pm EST and once at 1 pm EST. This is time to connect, celebrate and commiserate.
Bring your questions or challenge to the calls for coaching from Kerri. You can send your question in ahead of time. Speaking isn't necessary, only encouraged.
Each month we cover new learning that supports the Diet Rebel lifestyle - body image, gentle nutrition, communicating with family, applying the principles in real life, etc.
Recordings of the evening calls are uploaded into the membership site, so if you miss a month or would like to watch past session, you can do that!

Here are the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about this program:
Like all of my programs, Mastering Life As A Rebel is weight neutral. That means that you will learn to trust that your body will find it's right size when you start to care for it. Weight is not a measurement of success and only weight-neutral language will be tolerated.
Most North Americans will fall into the category of disordered eating (occasional binge, weight cycling, swinging from restriction to overeating). This program is designed for them. Eating disorders that are active or newly into recovery need more personal and nuanced care. I'd be happy to chat with you about resources that are available for you. No, this is not a treatment program. It's an educational program that is meant to give you insight into some of the factors and challenges surrounding Diet & Wellness Culture and intentional weight loss. Mastering Your Life as a Rebel is designed to empower and equip you to have better discussions with your own healthcare team. Should you wish to work with Dr. Kerri as a Naturopathic Doctor and are a resident of the Province of Ontario, you can book a call with her here.
The short answer is no. I've priced this program to be as accessible as it can be. Group programs do not qualify as Naturopathic services in Ontario and cannot be submitted for reimbursement.
Some past participants were able to use their HSA. Please contact your insurance company directly for more information.
This program is designed for people who are familiar with the concepts of Intuitive Eating, Health At Every Size™ and Body Acceptance. While they may still feel clumsy with implementing them, they're largely on board with the Anti-diet movement and have some experience.
A bonus of this program is access to the other Diet Rebellion programs. This means that extra support is always at your fingertips if you find that you're struggling a bit.

You'll have access as long as you are a member! Once you sign up, the videos will be automatically uploaded to the member portal each month, along with any documents or resources, and you can watch them and revisit them anytime you want to.
There are two (2) live calls every month over Zoom and the details for those will be sent by e-mail and through group chat. All videos, worksheets and/or resources will be uploaded to the membership site.
Once you register for the program, you will be sent login details via email. Once you open the email, you can login to the portal and find past recordings. Living Life As A Rebel is also instantly available to you as a Bonus, so you can start consuming great content right away.

HAES™ Naturopath and Intuitive Eating Counselor
I've been an ND for 20 years (but I don't feel old enough to say that!). My practice has been weight-neutral since 2015 and I got certified as an intuitive eating counselor in 2018.
Mom to a human and a dog
I have a teenager (who I genuinely like as a person) and a great big dog that rarely leaves my side. You'll find us cuddling on the couch, playing in the water (I love kayaking), walking amongst the trees or skiing (yes, we're those annoying people who love snow).
It's all about the kids
